Possessive adjectives

Possessive adjectives are used to indicate who owns something. For example:

My is used to describe things that belong to me.

Its: is a possessive adjective and describes things that belong to someone or something.

It’s: is a subject and a verb (It is…)

For example:

This is my cat. Its fur is orange in colour.
